  What a shame. Eaten here on several occasions hence the return visit. Where has all the home cooked fare gone. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. 3 of our party of 5 had pie. The pie lids were undercooked as we're the veg but the pie contents were good. And the steak my son ordered was very nice. The service was very good although some care could have been given to clearing away the unrequired cutlery and wine glasses. As it was, we ended up pushing it all to the end of the table. Hate to day it but will think twice before returning. Still s lovely boozer though.

  We went to the Bull as me and my partner were driving around looking for a nice place to stop for lunch. We walked in and sat down straight away even though it was a Sunday, without a booking. We had starters which were lovely and we asked to move as where we were sat it was a little bit cold. This wasn't a problem we were moved straight away. Our roast was absolutely fantastic and good value for money. Service was perfect, will definitely be returning.
